THE VIBE: 1980S MIAMI CHIC (PEACH EDITION)

I think I audibly SIGHED when I saw that first picture, of the totally, completely peach living room. Because that is my DREAM. To live there — forever. To wake up ensconced in mellow peach light, on a peach sofa, while softly swaying palm trees rustle by the windows. 🍑 🌴

Then, if I had my way, there would be circular windows all around (see photo #2) and white marble floors EVERYWHERE that a very nice housekeeper would keep clean for me. I’d have a sunken sofa and a white-hot stereo system (photo #3) that was second-only in my heart to my beautiful, white-hot leather furniture.

Keep bringing in the oversized potted palms, please! Because that bathroom is going to need a few (photo #4). WOW. Imagine how HOT that place gets, when it’s all steamed up! 🔥

And, finally, am I the only one who likes to imagine what kind of person would have actually lived in a place that had a bathroom like that, back in the 1980s? Because in my mind, it was occupied primarily by a rich man’s wife. Her name was Patricia, or Sheila. She was perpetually 35 years old. She was beautiful but malcontent. Etc.
