FOR ME, THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH ISN’T DISNEY WORLD, IT’S club med. specifically, club med in the ‘80s. When I was a kid, we went to the club meds in eleuthera, bahamas (twice), aS WELL AS IN cancun and huatulco, mexico. THERE’S A UTOPIAN MAGIC ABOUT THE CLUB MED EXPERIENCE THAT’S EQUAL PARTS GLITTERING OCEAN, COCONUT-SCENTED SEX, AND GENTLY SWAYING PALM TREES.
